First released in 1989, the Tinker Hatfield-designed AJ4 returns this weekend with the release of the Air Jordan 4 Retro SE “Black Canvas”. Calling to mind Eminem’s coveted Carhartt x Air Jordan 4, this iteration features a durable canvas upper in black with tonal suede overlaid at the forefoot. Contrasting against the upper, molded eyelets and midsole detailing take on a ‘lighter shade of ‘steel grey', while a pop of ‘fire red’ is found at the tongue’s woven “Jordan Flight” tag. Additional branding is found at the rubberized heel tab, which features an embossed “Jumpman” logo in grey, while black laces and tonal TPU netting at the tongue & midfoot help round off the release.
